14 ounces mincemeat ¾ cup shortening ¾ cup sugar 1/3 cup molasses 1 ½ cup flour 2 cup quick oats ¾ teaspoon salt Cream shortening and gradually add sugar. Beat until fluffy. Mix in molasses. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Put half of the oatmeal mixture into a greased 9x9” pan. Press down firmly. Spread mincemeat on top. Spread on remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 40 minutes. Cool to cut.
