Ingredients
- 14 ounces mincemeat
- ¾ cup shortening
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 2 cup quick oats
- ¾ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cream shortening and gradually add sugar.
- Beat until fluffy.
- Mix in molasses.
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Put half of the oatmeal mixture into a greased 9"x9” pan.
- Press down firmly.
- Spread mincemeat on top.
- Spread on remaining oatmeal mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 40 minutes.
- Cool to cut.
